Happy happy joy joy

OK, I know I am a giant slack ass for not having posted my STUFF for Stuff Portrait Friday but I have good reasons. I promise. That being said, I gotta share my good news. I just got off the phone with the husband and we have our financing approved for a house. I could fucking just burst. We are approved up to an amount that I am very comfortable with. I believe we can for sure find a house in that price range that we are happy with and most importantly, can AFFORD. Key word there. We are going house hunting next Saturday since our realtor is out of town this weekend. I am absolutely thrilled. I hope that the process goes as smoothly as it has thus far. Have I mentioned that I am so damn excited that I could do cartwheels down the damn hallway except I can't because we have clients in the office today?

Yay! I wish I understood what you were talking about, but I'm a dork who doesn't know anything about that stuff! But, yay!

if I KNEW HOW, I'd toss in a cartwheel or two for ya too - yes, I cannot do a cartwheel.

Congratulations SFG! I am so excited for you! I really wish I could get a house but I have crap credit and I doubt any lender in their right mind would give me a loan. Poo! I want a house, too!

Congrats again! And have a GREAT Memorial Day weekend!

Congrats SFG. Somehow you always manage to afford it, even if you buy something more than you think you can afford. Good luck@

Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. Im glad its gone smooth so far. Being in the biz, I know that this can be quite a process but just hang in there and give everything the loan agent asks for right away. It makes it so much easier when I have clients that co-operate.

Katiebebored: Hang in there too. Sometimes loan people dont want to work that hard for people with bad credit. Those are my favorite kind of clients because they are more appreciative than the ones with stellar credit that think they walk on water. :D

Woohoo! Shopping for houses is FUN!! Care for any unsolicited advice? Keep a folder and make notes on each house and draw the floor plan etc, take photos if possible b/c you won't believe how they all get mixed up in your head after awhile..... good luck! =)

Congrats on the great news!!! I hope you find a great house. And like Weetzie said, take as many pictures as you can. It really helps when comparing them all. And then, when your offer is accepted, you can look at the pictures and decorate the house in your mind while you're waiting to move in. At least that's what I did.
