Here is the thing....

I appreciate the concern about my "safety." I do agree it was probably not the swiftest move to put my potential new address on my blog. So it's off but of course, people saw it already. If a psychopath shows up at my house, then that's my bad. However, I never say what firm I work for. If the person who commented on my blog really lives and works down here then they know the sheer volume of fucking law firms down here. As for me describing my building or what have you, why should I be concerned? I don't use names. I don't do it because of everyone else's privacy. I use initials or made up names. Hey, maybe I am as naive as the day is long, but that is for me to worry about. If this ends up blowing up in my face, then so be it. For now, I will continue to be candid about my life on here while still preserving other's privacy. Thanks for the concern but it is not needed. That is all.

I wouldn't worry about it anymore since it is off. And this is YOUR blog...who cares if you post about work and things of that nature? I think we all do!! :)

I think people are way too skittish sometimes. I mean, keeping your workplace name off the blog and other people's names is a good idea as as far as keeping your ass out of hot water, but really doesn't provide much in the way of keeping tha info. out fo the hands of anyone who truly wants to know. You know?

How is it any different than if a taxi driver takes you home and sees where you live? Or if someone walking down the street sees you pull into your driveway? If people want to know things about you, they can easiy figure them out, whether you give them any details or not.

No biggie and no different than flipping through the phone book like in the olden days.

P.S. I might show up at your house in the middle of the night, but I will bring cookies. :-)

Just to let you know. I am not a stalker. I didn't even think about your address being on it or anything...I am glad someone brought it to your attention and you got it off though. Some people are freakin PSYCHO'S!

I can totally empathize with people being retards about the privacy thing. What I also hate, though, is when people ask which firm I work at, too. They can only be asking because (a) they want to know where I work so they can stalk me or (b) they hate me and they want to write to my HR department and say that I blog all day long. But as for you putting things on your site of your own free will, people need to back off. It is probably best you took your address off, but if you want it on your blog, that is your prerogative. Just ignore those trolls!

I didn't mean to say that I empathize WITH the people that are retards. I meant I empathize with YOU about the retards. Bad wording on my part.

How is someone offering helpful advice considered a "troll???" Unreal, Katie. Unreal.

It is your blog, and write what you want to write. As others have said, if someone wants to be a stalker type, there are many other ways to get the info they want.

Don't worry. No one would dare bug the SFG. And if they try, it's good excuse to set up booby-traps. I love me some booby-traps.

Damn it SFG, I was just about to buy a plane ticket to New Orleans and track your southern ass down to STALK YOU! Then I was going to have secret cameras installed into your new house so I could spy on you in the shower!
