Someone please explain....

How a band called Evanescense got to be popular. It all sounds like shrieking to me. Is life really that bad?

they're only good for hefty depression phases - I liked them a lot when they first came out... I was in the midst of a difficult break up - this was key to my liking them. Haven't enjoyed listening to them since.
