Movie reviews - also known as Allow Me To Save You Some Time

Ray - fabulous. I loved it. Jamie Foxx rocked in it. I had no idea Ray Charles was such a ho.

Cursed - seriously just the largest pile of dog shit ever. I am all for scary movies. I am all for campy scary movies. This just sucked.

Hotel Rwanda - 2/3 of the way through it and it's fabulous. It is rather emotional that we pretty much left those people to die because we Americans love to have that "we have our own problems here so let's act like none of what happens overseas matters" mentality. I had to take a break because I started hating myself.

Walk the Line - abso-fucking-lutely amazing. Joaquin (MEOW) is just hot in it and nails Johnny Cash completely. Y'all must go see now. I don't give a shit if you don't like country music. His performance is just stellar. I smell Oscar.

If you liked Hotel Rwanda (haven't seen it yet myself), you should check out the book by Romeo Dallaire. He's the Canadian who led the UN Peacekeeping mission in Rwanda. He kept telling people that the shit was hitting the fan, and no one listened at first.

His story is a tragic one, but one I hope to read about.

Thanks for the reviews. All your positives I have seen or will see. I had no plans to see Cursed and you have confirmed my decision!

Hotel Rwanda was amazing. My husband was like you and had to turn it off halfway through because he was so mad. It was such a powerful movie. I agree completely about Walk the Line. I think I was drooling in the theater. Joaquin = H-O-T.

Walk the Line was SO awesome! And Joaquin is abso-freakin-lutely HOT! He plays a better Johnny Cash than Johnny Cash could have played. And his VOICE! It makes me get all hot and bothered. I totally smell Oscar, too - both Phoenix and Witherspoon were amazing.

I haven't seen Ray - I want to see that one alot - as for Hotel Rwanda, I have heard that was totally bad ass. My next movie that I am DYING to see - Memoirs of a Geisha!!!
