Book 6 - Hit Reply by Rocki St. Claire and Book 7 - Gone by Lisa Gardner

Being that things were a tad nutso around here, I am sorta behind in my book posting. Hit Reply was a fantastic book that I read in less than one day. Y'all know I love the chick lit books that are sorta mindless and don't require any sort of deep thought. After dealing with death and fuckheads for family late last week, I truly needed a break. This book was perfect. Being that I am addicted to my computer and would prefer to communicate via email than any other way, this book was for me. It was a series of emails and IM sessions between these various characters in this book - some friends, some lovers (or almost lovers), some couples, some family members. I highly recommend.
Gone was not all that I thought it would be. I have read all of Lisa Gardner's other books and loved them. Her books are usually big time page turners, but I just had a hard time really getting into this one. The story was good but something failed to grab me the way I am used to. For those of you that like thrillers, I would say give it a whirl, but if you can't get psyched up by page 100, save your time.

Scroll down for my SPF!!!

PS - the update and the story about what a bitch my MIL is shall come later. I so have to get some work done.
