The makings of a perfect afternoon
Hard to see, but that is a rain-splattered door. I love me some rain storms and this one was complete with thunder and lightning. Loves it.
My spot on the sofa for the day. I have nice reading light - nothing overpowering, a nice pillow for the lower back, and ample space to put my feet up.
One always needs a Pooper by her side.
And what better way to listen to the rain than by candle light? I love candles - even if I am here by myself and not trying to be all romantical and stuff.
Ahhhhhhhh, I love the rain.

I love the rain, too. But I definitely enjoyed them more b/4 kids.

I LOVE rainstorms! I get so upset when there are storms on the radar and they fizzle out before they reach DFW!

LOVE thunderstorms for sleeping and yes! Burning candles when it's quiet is so calming...and cheaper than going to the spa.

I love being able to stay in and read on a rainy day! How is your house so clean and your couch so fur-free? You animals are long haired, right? What is this secret???

I agree with pissy, that couch looks so inviting! Especially when there's a darling doogus warming it up for you.
And thunderstorms! I'm so jealous...I love them so and we don't get SHIT in terms of thunderstorms in California.
