    That is so bad I go to my sister's myspace page and have to sit there and translate what she has written, just because I have no idea what the hell the kids are saying these days. Makes me feel old!

    This drives me insane! I teach a class to college freshmen and I see it all the time! How do they get the idea that this is acceptable? Are they allowed to do it in high school? I warn them the first day of class that any assignments turned in using "internet shorthand" will be an automatic failing grade for that assignment. But yet I still see it.
